I looked for a long time. So I started checking it out in stores around me.
I get alot of my stuff from Amazon and I like the ease and how fast I receive my purchases. I like the Sony name and trust it and it once again did not let me down.
Amazon had the best deal. I love it and would reccomend it to everyone.
I had been looking for a turn table I could hook up to my computer so I could transfer my old albums to my computer. Then I saw this one on Amazon and liked what I read.
It was easy to set up and it took the scratches out of my albums and the sound is beautiful.
I was really excited to see how easy it was to convert my old vinyl to new CD's or files on my computer. It was very eary. I was worried that this turntable would be difficult to set up and use. Quite the contrary. The software included is an old version and had to be updated right after install but that was also very easy.
I had my doubts, but I came to grasps. The directions were easy to follow, with a couple of troubles here and there but easy none the less. As for the software, that necessarily on my mind, but it should probably work fine. I looked up many record players that would quite satisfy me and from reading the reviews for this product, I knew it would do the trick. Fast Delivery and with a great sound, I was impressed. I will revise this once, I can talk about durability and battery life, but as of now, the turntable works fantastic.
It is a delight to find a product which more than lives up to it's expectations.Easy to use.Parts easily available.Hopefully will benefit further from SONY's product excellence and long service
This was time consuming, but effective. Sony has a phone number where you can purchase the ability to talk to a customer service rep. I find their lack of attentiveness a breach of the purchasing contract entered between a consumer and a manufacturer. I went to the Sony web sight and sent them several inquiries on the problems I was having and seeing how I read everything possible I could find and the only help I got was from me and the hours I spent trying different things.
They could sure teach Sony a little about customer service. I can not say enough about Amazon. I watched my 30 days and exercised my return option with Amazon. There is nothing I could find in the software or the on line users manual to change a setting to enhance this. I did, on my own, discover a way to manually create regions (track divisions) and save each track individually. I truely believe the software is probably capable of fixing many of the problems that I had but we will never know. Gee thanks, I just purchase your product and you want me to pay you to tell me how to use it.
They were very professional. This turntable has so much potential, to bad Sony don't know customer service.Lets review, The software sometimes does not divide the tracks. I had trouble with the volume of the playback on one album, I re-recorded it many times, adjusting recording levels, experimenting with several options on the menu bar to no avail. I know I should have known this would have been a problem since so many others had said the same of Sony in their reviews.
